Sanders Masked Bandits Steal $200K in Ohio
Shedeur Sanders' home in Granger Township, Ohio, was hit by masked thieves on Sunday evening, resulting in the theft of over $200,000 in property. The break-in occurred around 6:46 p.m., shortly after the Cleveland Browns' game against the Baltimore Ravens concluded. According to Medina County deputies, the intruders entered through an unlocked door and made their escape by the time the game ended, leaving behind a trail of stolen goods.
The incident unfolded when Sanders' manager, upon being approached by the officers, revealed surveillance footage showing three masked individuals approaching the house from a nearby treeline. Once inside, the suspects used their cellphones to navigate through the home, stealing items from Sanders' bedroom, including his nightstand and closet, and even overturning his pillows. The thieves exited the house in the same manner they entered, leaving no physical evidence behind other than the stolen goods.
While the exact value of what was stolen remains undisclosed, the burglary appears to have targeted high-value items. The incident raises questions about the security measures in place at Sanders' residence, especially given that the home was recently used as a locker room during a Browns game. At this time, local authorities do not suspect gang involvement or juveniles, but the case is under investigation.
